The Girls Gone Green @ Welcome to Rockville 2013
We had a great time at this year's Welcome to Rockville in Metro Park! The Girls Gone Green worked one of their booths and in return all the tips earned went straight to our nonprofit! Thanks to our awesome volunteers who worked long hours, in the mud, slinging beers. Without these fine folks dedicating their time to us, events like these would be impossible for us to do - we very much appreciate all they do for us. Also, big thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We look forward to seeing you at the next show.
The Girls Gone Green @ Tap 'N' Run 4K 2013
The Girls Gone Green was the official non-profit for the national event - TAP 'N' RUN 4K in April. Tap 'N' Run 4K combines participants' love of beer and running for a unique "one of a kind" run/walk race totaling 2.4 miles throughout Riverside/Avondale. Participants dressed in costumes and ran with teams, friends and family of legal drinking age. A portion of the proceeds benefited our nonprofit!
We needed close to 40 volunteers to help run this event and we could not have done it without our dedicated group passionate about the environment, animals and health! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, it certainly was a fun-filled day...just check out the pics.

The Girls Gone Green @ MOSH 2012
On Saturday, December 8th, The Girls Gone Green hosted a day at the Museum of Science and History for a great group of people! Thank you to everyone who came out, ate some good food, watched a cool movie and hopefully learned about living more eco-friendly in the GREEN REVOLUTION exhibit. If you missed our event, don't worry...you have until mid-January to check out all the cool things at the museum.
Did you know over 3,000 plastic bags are used every SECOND?? At MOSH, they produced a visual of this staggering statistic by stringing together 3,000 plastic bags and hanging them throughout the museum. Do your part to save marine life who mistake these bags for food by bringing your reusable bag or making sure the plastic ones are recycled (sadly, it costs more to recycle the bag compared to just creating a new one).

The Girls Gone Green @ The Big Ticket 2012
On Sunday, December 2nd, The Girls Gone Green served hundreds of vegan meals at The Big Ticket in Metro Park. We are proud to say one of our customers was the headlining band, RISE AGAINST. If you know Rise Against you know they are tied to doing right by animals and promote kindness and compassion.
Our Girls Gone Green Street Team did an amazing job of distributing refreshments to concert goers in an effort to raise money for The GGG through the tips they collected. We can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication and we thank you if you stopped by our booth to try our vegan tacos and cookies. We look forward to seeing you next year!
