THE GIRLS GONE GREEN
It's Time to Get Dirty

Get Dirty!
We definitely got dirty in the MUDDY BUDDY RACE!  Here are the pics to prove it.  Thanks to everyone who supported us and donated to our efforts :)  It gave us the determination to finish 31st!  We wanted to save number one for next year...

The Girls Gone Green attended the first Green Earth Expo held in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center May 15-18. This particular expo was designed to showcase eco-friendly products and services for consumers and businesses. More than 300 exhibitors -- many based in Central Florida -- were on hand, touting "green" products ranging from electric sports cars to recyclable artificial grass.

We were there not only to share information about us, but also to stay in the know and meet the people out there trying to make this a greener world.  Look for some of them to be on our upcoming shows!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello!  They were so many great people at the expo so you'll definitely have to come next year :)!!

The Girls Gone Green teamed up with ARFF and AACF to protest the circus when it came to town in early January at the Amway Arena!  Thanks to everyone who came out to spread the word about abuses in circuses...people leaving the circus said they could see the pain and fear in the animals eyes!

Past Events:

The Girls Gone Green along with Animal Activists of Central Florida have been trying over the last several weeks to get LUMA to drop foie gras from their menu!  They have been asked kindly, and tautingly they continue to say no.  Well, we took to the streets of Park Avenue outside of Luma to educate patrons of Luma's cruel delicacy!  If you don't know about foie gras check any of these resources out...it's truly despicable!

It's so bad, it has been banned in 16 countries and cities here in the US!!  Please join us for our next protest outside of Luma Restaurant Saturday, December 8 starting at 7pm.  We'll provide everything, we just need you to let Luma know this is not acceptable.
